Flower Care

How do I care for fresh flowers?

Place your flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh water. Trim about half an inch from each stem at an angle before arranging them, and replace the water every one to two days. Keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight, heat vents, air conditioners, and ripening fruit, which can cause flowers to age more quickly.

For additional flower care tips, including our rose vase life experiment where roses lasted 28 days, visit our Instagram.

How long will my flowers last?

Vase life depends on the flower variety, season, and how they're cared for. Most fresh bouquets last between 5 and 10 days, while some flowers may remain beautiful even longer with proper care and regular water changes.

For more flower care advice, including our 28 day rose experiment, visit our Instagram.

What if my flowers don't last as expected?

If you're concerned about the quality of your flowers, please contact us as soon as possible with a photo of the arrangement. We'll review your order and work with you to find the best solution.

Learn more: Contact Us

Where can I learn more about caring for flowers?

We regularly share flower care tips, behind the scenes floral education, and seasonal advice on our Journal and our Instagram to help you enjoy your flowers longer.

Are flowers safe around pets?

Some flowers are pet friendly, while others can be harmful if ingested. If you have curious cats or dogs, keep flowers out of reach and contact us if you'd like recommendations for pet conscious floral choices.
