Graduation Flowers: How to Celebrate Your Grad With Flowers
So....you've got a grad on your hands. Yay!
But, how do you celebrate? Do you get them flowers or is that, like, weird now? Today we'll break down our pics for graduation and give some tips on how to tell which option your grad would appreciate the most.
Your Choices:
- Nothing (um...we don't recommend this)
- Bouquet
- Lei
- Vase
Option One: Nothing
We definitely don't think this is the right one. Here's why:
We get it...students these days think just about everything is weird now, so you're probably wondering if they feel the same way about flowers for graduation.
If you were to ask them, they'd probably be all nonchalant and pretend they don't really care if you do or don't get them flowers. Buuuuttttt the truth is, deep down, they'd probably love to get flowers for graduation. In case you're still worried about it, we've included a list of side effects below ⬇️
Possible side effects of receiving flowers may include: a feeling of warmth, happiness and joy
(I don't know, this doesn't seem like to bad of a deal) 😉
Option Two: Bouquet
A bouquet is the perfect option for a grad gift! The student can carry the bouquet around and pose with it throughout the day for photos (there are always soooo many photos at a graduation...so this is like, a big win!), and they get to take it home afterwards to continue celebrating for a few days afterwards. 💐
💡 Florist Tip: We recommend snatching one of our Grab and Go Bouquets from either Caputos or Loki Coffee if you're in need of a quick and easy drop by and forgot to order ahead of time!
Option Three: Lei
Graduation lei's are becoming more and more popular for grad gifts due to their ease of wear and festive vibes! These are also great for those who love having flowers for photos but don't want to have to carry them around all day. 🌷
💡 Florist Tip: We offer beautiful carnation lei's here if you'd like to order ahead of time!
Option Four: Vase
We love doing vases for grads too! These are great option if you're looking for something a little bit longer lasting. You could give the arrangement to your student on the day of graduation, or drop by afterwards to keep the celebration going. This is another great option for kiddos who don't want to carry an arrangement around all day, and who prefer flowers in the house. (Though of course, you could always take your bouquet and repurpose it in a vase afterwards, too!) 🪻
💡 Florist Tip: Another perk to vases is their use for other events too! If you're hosting a graduation party or a celebratory dinner, a vase can act as a gift and a centerpiece. Order on our website now!
Bonus Option Five: Other Gifts
We know there are some people out there who don't really vibe with the whole flower bouquet thing. Luckily for you (and them!) we offer some pretty cool "other" gift options.
Here's some inspo if you need ideas:
- Orchids
- Succulent Arrangements
- Personalized Cards
- Puzzles
- Books
- Gift Card (for whatever they want later on!)
