Suncrest Flowers has been testing Grab and Go in places where people already spend time.

Coffee Shops

At Loki Coffee in Salt Lake City, customers can pick up Suncrest bouquets while getting coffee.

The Grab and Go display is available daily from 7 AM to 5 PM, subject to availability.

It is an intentionally simple idea.

Get coffee.

Suncrest also stocks ready made bouquets at select Caputo's Market locations.

The Holladay location carries bouquets on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 7 PM, while supplies last.

Flower Vending Machines

Suncrest also operates a refrigerated flower vending machine at Trolley Square.

The machine is located next to Olive & Cocoa and is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, subject to bouquet availability.

This gives customers another option when a traditional flower shop is closed.

What Makes a Good Grab and Go Bouquet?

Ready made does not mean random.

A good Grab and Go bouquet still needs to be designed.

The florist considers:

Color

Does the combination actually work?

Texture

Do the flowers and foliage create enough visual interest?

Proportion

Does the bouquet feel balanced?

Seasonality

What flowers are looking good and available right now?

Presentation

Does it look finished when someone picks it up?

The customer may only spend 30 seconds choosing a bouquet.

They should be.

Suncrest designs its ready made bouquets using seasonal flowers and maintains them through its normal floral care and stocking process.

But there is an important difference between ready made and forgotten.

Ready made means the florist has already designed the bouquet.

It does not mean the bouquet sits indefinitely waiting for someone to buy it.

Flowers are perishable.

Quality needs to be monitored.

Bouquets that are no longer up to standard should not remain available simply because they have not sold.
